  • HONORED TO BE PART OF WOLFEPACK GOODS

    What is WolfePack Goods?

    image

Rather than let a senseless murder mark the end of two vibrant life stories, a group of local artists are coming together to honor the memory of Sarah & Susan Wolfe by creating charity artwork inspired by these women’s lives and passions. On February 6, 2014, both women were murdered in their East Liberty home. Sarah was a psychiatrist focusing on children’s development. Susan held degrees in education and worked as a child care provider. Both women were active in the Pittsburgh community, and they are sorely and deeply missed.

The resulting artwork is debuting on May 30 as Wolfepack Goods, a series of limited-edition pieces of t-shirts, stationery, ceramics, and more. All of the artwork is made by individuals who knew or cared about the Wolfe sisters and are inspired by some of their favorite things: children, animal welfare, female empowerment, and more. All of the artists involved have donated their time, materials, and creativity.

All proceeds from Wolfepack Goods will be donated to Girls Rock! Pittsburgh. This local group, inspired by national Girls Rock charters, stages empowerment-through-music camps for young girls here in Pittsburgh.

Our Online Store is now open!

The Gift Shop at the New York Public Library

I went to NYC last weekend with a group of women from my family to visit my cousin.  We stopped by the New York Public Library and I was plesantly surprised to see garbella tote bags on display in the entrance!  It was nice to chat with some of the staff members in the gift shop and to explore the unbelievable beautiful NYPL building! I highly recommend checking it out on your next trip to New York.

Where are you from, where are you located now, and what led you there?
I’m a born and raised Pittsburgher. I grew up in the South Hills, left to attend college in Alfred, NY, and moved back to Pittsburgh. I’ve been living in the East End for the past 12 years and bought a house in Lawrenceville about 8 years ago. I love to travel and visit new places, but Pittsburgh will always be home.
